CNN's Fareed Zakaria, host of GPS described Donald Trump as being a "bullshit artist" live, on the air.
He joined Wolf Blitzer to discuss Donald Trump's bogus statement and then Twitter clarification that Russia wasn't in the Ukraine when he was being interviewed on ABC.
Wolf Blitzer asked, "What message does it say when the presidential nominee of a party needs to comeback, clarify his remarks on such a sensitive and volatile issue?
Zakaria gave a lengthy description of Trump's ignorance on basic political and policy issues and characterized Trump's behavior as a "pattern and said, "Every time it is demonstrated that Donald Trump is plainly ignorant about some basic public policy issue, some well known fact, he comes back with a certain bravado and tries to explain it away with a tweet or a statement."
He continued, "He did it on Brexit. He did it on the nuclear triad. He did it really on how U.S. debt markets work. He thought that Tim Kaine was the governor of New Jersey."
Zakaria understands that some people might perceive Trump as being entertaining, but he properly labeled him as something more.
“It’s sort of amusing to watch, how’s he going to pull it off this time? What is he going to argue, usually he adds that the press hates him, but there is a term for this kind of thing. This is the mode of a bullshit artist.”
And there you have it. Somebody said it live and out loud. Trump is a BS artist!
Zakaria like myself isn't amused with "such antics" because "it’s entertaining if the guy is trying to sell you a condo or a car, but for President of the United States it’s deeply worrying."
Zakaria then went on to explain that while many people may want to be part of Russia in Crimea, it's not legal for a leader of another country such as Putin to just invade them.
