Isn’t it nice to know that our Republican representatives are spending their time and our taxpayer money on another Hillary Clinton investigation, even though House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz has just publicly admitted it’s a waste of both?
In case you missed it, the Benghazi/Clinton email Republicans have decided not to let a little thing like FBI Director James Comey’s opinion that "no charges are appropriate in this case" from opening up yet another investigation, this time into whether or not Hillary Clinton lied to Congress about the use of her private email server.
On The O’Reilly Factor tonight, Chaffetz and host Bill O’Reilly puzzled over why Comey hasn’t already investigated Clinton for that infraction. But now, the “Never Let Benghazi Die" (but thousands of Americans in an Iraq war under false pretenses is no biggie) crew has requested the Justice Department look into perjury charges against Clinton.
Clearly, O’Reilly thought that a fool’s errand.
O'REILLY: But here’s the game. She’s gonna say, and he’s gonna back her up, I know it. She’s gonna say, “I didn’t know at the time that I was misleading. This is the information that I thought was true at the time." And he even hinted that, Comey. He’s not going to come down with any – he’s not.

In my opinion, he’s probably gonna, you know, talk to you guys a little bit but it’s gonna be, “She didn’t know at the time when she was misleading that she was misleading.”
And Chaffetz openly acknowledged O'Reilly was right.
O’REILLY: You know what I’m saying to you is true.
CHAFFETZ: I know.
O’REILLY: It’s not going to come back your way, it’s not.
CHAFFETZ: I can’t argue with, Bill, no.
This is what passes for public service to a top Republican.
Watch it above, from the July 11 The O'Reilly Factor.
