Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton released a new web video featuring the same man who appeared in a similar ad in 1964 and is now making a case against Clinton's likely general election rival, Donald Trump.

The 60-second video, titled "Confessions of a Republican II," is a spin-off of an ad featuring Bill Bogert expressing concerns about then-Republican nominee Barry Goldwater.

The ad features many of the same points raised in 1964, but also criticizes Trump's campaign.

"I was a Republican who voted for Eisenhower and Nixon. My father was a Republican, his father was. The whole family was," Bogert says in the new ad.

"But Donald Trump. He's a different kind of man, this man scares me."

Bogert then slams Trump for saying the country needs unpredictability when it comes to using nuclear weapons.

"What is that supposed to mean?" Bogert asks.

"When a man says that, he sounds a lot like a threat to humanity."
