Omar Mateen's father has the nerve to blame Pulse nightclub for not "stopping" his son from killing 49 people.
June 14, 2016

Omar Mateen's father sat down with Orlando's Fox 35 news today to discuss the massacre at Pulse Nightclub at the hands of his deranged son. Upon the news of his son's act on Sunday, his father said that he was "angry that he saw 2 men kissing in Miami a few months ago." He said this had nothing to do with religion and everything to do with his anger.

Before watching this interview, be warned. If you expect him to apologize or blame his son, you would be wrong. In fact, he has the nerve to blame the club itself. Yes, you read that right. He blames the club for being "unprepared" for the number of people at the club.

TMZ reports that Pulse provided the following statements after hearing about Seddique Mateen's comments:

"We simply can't find the words to respond to such a callous comment from the father of the man who perpetrated this heinous act."

It truly is a despicable thing to blame anyone but his own murderous son.

CBS reports that when asked about speculation that his son may have been gay, he denied it vehemently, saying:

"To me, that is wrong. I didn't see any of it and I don't believe that was the case."

It is becoming clearer and clearer why, if reports are true the Omar was a self loathing gay man, he would lash out. His own father is in denial. His son visited gay clubs for years, asked out gay classmates, and had a profile on Grindr, a dating app for gay singles.

Fox News also reports that a federal prosecutors have already convened a grand jury to investigate his wife, Noor Salman. She took him to buy ammo and a holster and she knew that he was planning some sort of massacre. Her arrest could happen at any time.

Prosecutors are seeking to charge her as accessory to 49 counts of murder and 53 counts of attempted murder. She could also face charges regarding failure to notify law enforcement and lying to federal agents while being interviewed following the massacre.

We will update this story as more information comes in.
