I searched the internet for jobs bills this morning, and found out that according to Speaker Paul Ryan's official Congressional website, there are all kinds of jobs bills waiting for passage in...The Democratic Senate?
Our tech guru Jamie says that while the header for all of the House Speaker webpages was updated with the change in leadership, the content of the Speaker's page about jobs bills has not been updated since September of 2014. It can take time to update web content, but not 19 months, and not about jobs in an election year.
There are multiple explanations for this. Perhaps Paul Ryan's staff has been too busy soothing the WATB's of the Tea Party in his own Congress to notice his website still has John Boehner's fail all over it.
Also, it's entirely possible Paul Ryan figures his constituents will never notice this error, because of course it's the Democrat Party's fault, turn up that right wing hate radio.
But maybe Paul Ryan figures since the Senate's going to be Democratic again come January, why change it?
