No Love Lost Between Morning Joe And Herr Trump
May 11, 2016

Get your tissues ready, friends. It appears the bromance is over. The building magnate and hair apparent to the GOP throne and the MSNBC bespectacled newscaster appear to be over.

Joe Scarborough and Herr Trump are having a public Twitter spat and it is heartbreaking. Here is how it went down:

Last Thursday morning Scarborough said that he would not be able to vote for Herr Trump if he continued with his insane position of banning all Muslim's from entering the US. Wednesday night, Herr Trump doubled down and said he would not back down from that position.

Scarborough came out and spoke against his bestie:

"And I gotta say I was surprised and disappointed ... that yesterday, he stuck by the Muslim ban. That's a loser. It's a loser with the majority of Americans, and you've got Republicans like me. I just, I'm not going to vote for a guy"

That didn't go over well with Herr Trump.

Monday morning Herr Trump tweeted out:

Scarborough responded:

“How you doin’, Donald? It’s very funny when you said you don’t watch the show,” he said. “I think it’s cute. Keep it up. It makes us feel good that you care that much that you tweet about us."

On Monday night, Scarborough authored an op-ed piece in the Washington Post called "The art of the deal that could doom Donald Trump."

To put it simply, it was a basic tear down of the presumptive GOP nominee through pulling back the curtain a la Wizard of Oz to show the voter that in essence, Herr Trump is just an unprepared charlatan unwilling to take advice from those smarter than him, unwilling to admit when he doesn't fully understand a topic and utterly unfit for office.

In fact, Scarborough uses Herr Trump's own words against him through some quotes from the the first page of his book "The Art of the Deal" where he describes his fly by the seat of the pants attitude toward life. He says he likes structure free days where he “Just see(s) what develops.”

Seems presidential to me. Just see what develops. Who needs preparation or intelligence or actual functioning economic or policy related knowledge?
