Sean Hannity knows that his loyal viewers don't bother with frivolities like fact-checking. They take him at his word, even if his claims are quickly dispelled by a simple Google search. He claims that Trump has never been hostile to non-white voters.
HANNITY: I don't think he's been hostile to -- when has he been hostile to non-white voters? Where's that?
Yes. He actually uttered those words in that sequence. The examples of Trump's racist behavior scream back at you if you simply just invest a few second's time. For example, he has a tenuous relationship with, as he refers to them, 'The Blacks.' The Justice Department sued his company — twice — for not renting to black people, and he condoned the beating of a Black Lives Matter protester at one of his rallies.
He launched a barrage of insults at Mexicans from the outset of his campaign, calling them rapists and drug dealers, although some might be 'good people.' He openly showed disdain and used Ted Cruz's Cuban heritage against him.
His blanket statement calling for the U.S. to ban all Muslims from entering the country, was certainly shocking and appalling, but Hannity forgets that this was an example of targeting non-white voters. There's so many more examples of his blatant racism in addition to his failure to disavow supporters from White Nationalist groups, this statement is idiotic on its face. But then again, let's consider the source. Hannity performs inside the Fox News Bubble.
I dare Sean Hannity to run even one of these video clips on his show. Ever.
