As we've seen over the course of Donald Trump's entire presidential campaign, his one signature move is to use high school like taunts and insults against anyone who opposes him. And since Elizabeth Warren spoke out against him, she became his next target.
During a press conference in North Dakota, Nicole Robertson, a writer and media specialist from Canada and member of the Cree nation, told Trump that calling Elizabeth Warren "Pocahontas" wasn't a joke, but very offensive.
The Boston Globe writes: As a reporter began a question about the Massachusetts senator during a press conference in Bismarck, North Dakota, Trump interjected to say, “Who? Pocahontas?
Is that offensive?
Should you use that term?
She is offensive.
That's very offensive!
Oh, alright. I'm sorry about that.
Trump then continued attacking Warren.
“I think she is as Native American as I am, OK, that I will tell you, but she’s a woman that’s been very ineffective, other than she’s got a big mouth.”
