An important match between the EPL's Manchester United and Bournemouth being held at Old Trafford stadium, was at first delayed and then cancelled after a suspicious package was found and is now believed to be a "bomb."
Premier League insider, Neil Ashton was at the game and reported, "I've been told from a very, very highly placed source, that it is likely, a very high probability, that there's going to be a controlled explosion in that north-west quadrant, where we believe this package was found around twenty minutes before this game was due to be played."
UPDATE:
The BBC is reporting that a "controlled explosion was carried out" after the stadium was evacuated.
A steward found what appeared to be a "suspicious package" before kick-off which led to the bomb squad being called in and the Sunday Express is reporting that dogs are looking for a possible second package as well.
This is horrible news because soccer is the biggest sport around the world and if stadiums and matches are being targeted now - this will not end well.
