The guy who can’t stop lecturing African Americans about problems in their families can’t seem to stop getting into his own family troubles. After losing custody of his two children, Bill O’Reilly now plans to sue his ex-wife for $10 million over the terms of their separation agreement.

Gawker has the details about O'Reilly's latest row with ex-wife Maureen McPhilmy:

The Fox host’s lawyers have filed a series of documents alleging that McPhilmy “knowingly made false misrepresentations and material omissions of existing fact to [O’Reilly] ... for the sole purpose of inducing [him] to agree to a consensual divorce and to obtain money and real property to finance an existing extra-marital relationship.”

LawNewz explains what that means, in plain English:

In other words, O’Reilly is alleging his ex-wife lied about her relationship with another man in order to obtain a more favorable divorce settlement agreement. Furthermore, he is alleging she used the money obtained during the divorce settlement to bankroll that relationship.

You may recall that O'Reilly's appeal of his wife's full-time custody of their children (which was awarded at their request) was deemed so meritless that the court ordered he pay her court costs. During that battle, O'Reilly's daughter said she had witnessed him drag her mother down the stairs by the neck. O'Reilly also tried to wreak revenge on his wife's lover, a police detective whom she has now married, by pulling strings to get him investigated by the internal affairs division of the Nassau County Police Department.

Something tells me that vindictiveness is not one of the family values that O’Reilly espouses for others.

He really should clean up his own act before lecturing anyone else.
