And the stupid that is Gov. John Kasich continues. It's seems to be that whenever he's asked about a question pertaining to women, he comes off as a man living in the early 1950's.
This, ladies and gentlemen is the supposedly true moderate of the 2016 GOP presidential candidates.
ABC news captured the event in living color.
Republican presidential hopeful John Kasich today told a female college student concerned about "sexual violence, harassment and rape" that she should not "go to parties where there's a lot of alcohol."
The student, who said she studied at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, replied, "It’s sad, but it’s something that I have to worry about."
"Well, I would give you -- I’d also give you one bit of advice," Kasich replied. "Don’t go to parties where there’s a lot of alcohol."
It's never the men who need any advice or have to change their behavior in the minds of the John Kasichs. Oh, no. That would be too radical. Instead of addressing the men doing the abusing on college campuses, Kasich puts the blame squarely on the female side.
Don't want to be raped, ladies? Stay home, keep your knees tucked in and avoid all bars, nightclubs, concerts, restaurants that serve alcohol, parties, sporting events, dances, Christmas celebrations and especially, especially all New Years Ever functions.
His campaign later replied in a series of tweets via La Twitter.
Only one person is at fault in a sexual assault, and that's the assailant. 1/3

That's why John Kasich has worked so hard to provide campuses with the tools they need to make sure victims have the necessary support. 2/3

Victims needs to know we're doing everything we can to have their backs, and that's happening in Ohio under John Kasich's leadership. 3/3
