Women For Trump Explain Their Love For Him

CNN interviewed a few of the ladies. Facts? Feh. It's all about feelings.

I'm not sure how they did it, but CNN managed to find a few women supporting Donald Trump to interview. These women even have a support group which meets regularly so they can burnish their reasons for loving a fascist. I suppose you'd need one of those to justify it.

Among other reasons given, these women say he's a "straight shooter who says what he thinks." Which I suppose might be a good criterion for a therapist, but for a politician, not so much.

On the dustup between Cruz and Trump over their wives, they again shrug, calling it part of politics. I actually kind of agree with them on that, though I would also say that it's uglier politics than we usually see.

Most of all, they just like the fact that he appears strong. He makes them feel confident, and so they don't focus on pesky details like foreign policy or actual policy proposals. Because feelings.

Ironically, this interviewed aired on the same day where Trump's campaign manager was charged with assault for manhandling former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields. During a bizarre press conference a few minutes ago, Trump complained that if she had really been hurt, she would have screamed. He also suggested that maybe she got the bruises before Lewandowski manhandled her, and then finally said she probably had it coming because she touched Donald Trump.

But these women will find a way to justify his behavior anyway, because they "feel" so good about him.

I wonder if they "feel" the same way about Mussolini.

Republicans really have screwed up this country and how people think, haven't they?
