Travis County elected a new head of their Republican Party, a whackjob (no pun intended), named Robert Morrow. For those not familiar with Texas elections, this man's obsession with the sexual proclivities of other politicians has gone largely unknown, until today.
After his election, by a mere 6,000 votes, Morrow spent the night tweeting about former Gov. Rick Perry’s sexual orientation, former President Bill Clinton’s penis, and insisting that members of the Bush family should be in jail, per the Texas Tribune. He also tweeted about Hillary Clinton, calling her an “angry bull dyke”, accused his county vice chair of "betraying" the values of the Republican Party and insinuated that Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida is “very likely a gayman who got married." Fantastic!
After his win, Morrow said:
“The people have spoken. My friends and neighbors and political supporters — they wanted Robert Morrow.”
Morrow is now the head of the Republican party in the fifth largest county in Texas, leaving many GOP members completely up in arms and calling for a coup to oust him from his position. Travis County is also one of the most liberal counties in Texas, which makes Morrow's election even more astonishing. Hmmm...is this a prediction of what we may see at the Republican Convention when Trump gets the nomination but they try to contest it to shove Rubio or *gack* Cruz into the job?
Matt Mackowiak, vice chair of the Travis County GOP, said:
“We will explore every single option that exists, whether it be persuading him to resign, trying to force him to resign, constraining his power, removing his ability to spend money or resisting any attempt for him to access data or our social media account. I’m treating this as a coup and as a hostile takeover.”
Morrow's response was exactly what you would expect:
“Tell them they can go fuck themselves"
Spectacular! Nothing like telling your vice chair to f*&% off the day after an election. This is a great start to a positive working relationship.
Mackowiak responded with:
“We have someone who ran here who absolutely has no intention of serving the Republican Party with leadership and faithfulness. His social media account is something that no child should see. He is a total disaster.”
Wait? Who is he talking about? I swear, this description reminds me of someone but I can't place it...
In response to Morrow's election, the GOP leaders have threatened to leave the county party altogether to form a new Republican organization altogether if their efforts to remove Morrow from office prove unsuccessful, the Texas Tribune reports.
Mackowiak told the Tribune.
“I will not rest until we remove him as chairman. He's going to be an absolute embarrassment to the party. And if we fail in these efforts, we will start an alternate organization.”
Sounds familiar?
Marrow responded with the level of class and dignity that can be expected from a man who gladly calls other politicians "dykes" and said:
“I don’t even think Mackowiak is going to support the Republican nominee, who is probably going to be Trump. What kind of traitor to the party is Matt Mackowiak? The incredible amount of damage someone like him does to the party — and he’s a douchebag.”
Prior to his win, Morrow has a history of tweeting largely about state Republicans in vulgar and sexual terms. He has always insinuated that Rick Perry is bisexual and in 2010 called him "Gov. Skank Daddy” in an email. Being bisexual is not a crime, by the way. Nor is it anything to be ashamed of. In fact, no manner of sexual orientation should be something a politician should be shamed about, unless it is illegal.
Oh, and Morrow even has posts on his social media sites that use racial slurs, such as the N word. Wonderful. This is the future of the GOP. Trump reignited hate, xenophobia, sexism and homophobia in a way that we haven't seen in decades. Morrow being elected in such a liberal county shows just how close we are to elected the demon that is Donald Trump.
Morrow will assume his party post in June.

Morrow has wished death on Hillary Clinton and been visited by the Secret Service; posted bizarre sexual writings about the former secretary of state; called Chelsea Clinton a "slut" and imagined how she would "have sex one day" with Bill Clinton; posted about "n***ers" and "pro-fa*got JUDICIAL ACTIVISM"; and claimed the Bush and Clinton families were involved in murders. Stone also has a disreputable history: he formed an anti-Clinton group called "C.*.N.T." and called Chelsea a "total b*tch."
