Tell me if you've heard this one before - a Trump rally turns violent with protestors being assaulted by Trump supporters. Seems like a daily news headline, right? Well, this time the person assaulted was a teenager who was not only sexually groped, but also pepper sprayed from a distance of about 8 inches -- by a grown man who ran from the scene.
Raw Story reports the incident happened outside of a Trump campaign rally in Janesville, Wisconsin. Local news station WFTV-TV identified the teenage victim as Alex Drake. She is stated telling the unidentified man “You touched my breasts.” He verbally denies touching her but she repeats “You touched my chest” and approaches him. Then, more people appear to be touching her, which leads to her saying “Stop f*cking touching me.”
Within seconds he sprays her at extremely close range with a torrent of orange pepper spray. Thankfully, she has glasses on, but her entire face, nose and mouth were drenched with the dangerous and caustic substance.
Disgustingly, the response of the Trump supporters was not shock. Rather, they cheered for this man. They were proud of him for blinding this young woman, even after he was accused of touching her breasts multiple times. She is an outsider, a protester, and therefore, seemingly, her life is worthless.
The man remains unidentified at this time, but Police Chief David J. Moore said there is significant photographic and media evidence to show both who sprayed Drake and who groped her.
How long until someone gets shot and killed?
