Bernie Sanders supporter and actress Susan Sarandon appeared on All In with Chris Hayes last night.
Sarandon explained why she doesn't think she can bring herself to vote for Clinton if she is the nominee, even if Sanders himself encourages his supporters to vote for her. Hayes appeared surprised that Sarandon might actually vote for Trump over Clinton, She explained her (flawed) reasoning:
"Donald Trump will bring the revolution immediately...militarized police, privatized prison, death penalty, low minimum wage, threats to women's rights, and think you can't do something huge to turn that around because the country is not in good shape"
Her hate for Clinton runs so deep that she would actually vote for an egotistical, racist, hateful bully? Really?
Twitter was not amused:
So that @SusanSarandon interview elicited some strong reactions.

To the surprise of anyone who ever hung with theater kids, being a good actor does NOT make you a political genius: https://t.co/GZHCYONQAJ

I'm biased, but I suspect a Trump election followed by revolutionary terror would be bad for Susan Sarandon as well as the rest of the world

.@SusanSarandon in 2017, at a movie set craft services table, watching President Trump's army rounding up Mexicans: "Viva La Revolucion!"
