Fox News' Outnumbered TV show, opened up today with the unconscionable attack in Lahore, Pakistan on Easter Sunday, killing Christians and Muslims alike.
Although the suicide bombing was not committed by ISIS or al-Qaeda, but a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban, that made no difference to the #Outnumbered group of talking heads. To them it's all the same and as usual, it's all President Obama's fault.
Co-host Sandra Smith told her group, which includes media critic Howard Kurtz, that General Keane had told her "the world is starving for American leadership, and you feel that so much today as we mourn those lost from the latest attack."
Meghan McCain, whose daddy lost the presidency to Obama in 2008, was Johnny on the spot with her poignant analysis, which unsurprisingly attacked Obama and blamed him for the rise of Trump.
She was upset that Christians are being attacked around the world, but is really angry that the media refuses to cover the story as well as it did the Paris and Brussels attacks.
After she blamed the growth of ISIS on Obama because he pulled many of our troops out of Iraq, ( The troop withdrawals were negotiated by George Bush) she then parroted Donald Trump's entire stump speech about his awesome strength.
McCain: ISIS is growing, al-Qaeda is growing and we have a president who is choosing to tango in the dark. Literally, after an attack instead of expressing and showing support and strength globally and I think not only is the US losing right now, globally I think we are in such need of a strong leader to express the America that we all believe in and I think it just shows the rise of Trump cause in many things, as much as I don't like him, he is showing strength and showing America has a role to play and he believes in American exceptionalism and I don't believe our president does.
I was waiting for her to say we're getting screwed by China on trade deals too.
There it is. It's not that Trump has tapped into the xenophobia that permeates the base ot the GOP, but that Obama doesn't believe in American exceptionalism.
Maybe, he just hates America!
