For anyone needed any more proof that our corporate media is absolutely useless and morally bankrupt, I give you this segment from this Friday's Hardball with Chris Matthews and what passes for political commentary, while it looked like there was a real possibility of a riot breaking out out in the middle of the Trump rally that he was forced to cancel in Chicago, IL.

After months on end of MSNBC promoting Trump and giving him hours and hours on end of free air time, Matthews and his guests, Time's Jay Newton-Small and Ben Carson's former spokesperson, Deana Bass were asked to weigh in on what they were watching, and Newton-Small treated the audience to this bit of claptrap about the violence they were witnessing.

NEWTON-SMALL: You see this, like, in America and it's so heartbreaking where you have, you know, the bases of both parties, whether it's those sort of 15-20 percent bases, both parties where they just don't listen to the other side. They don't talk to the other side. They listen to, you know, and they get all their news from one, from just, you know, it's so narrow and cone-driven and they don't want to talk, they don't want to hear their perspectives.

And this is what we're seeing I think here is the two extremes come together here and there's no, there's no talking it over. There's no communication here. They're not trying to, to, you know, understand each other there. They're trying to really engage, and that's what's terrifying about Donald Trump's candidacy right now, is that that's what he brings out.

Sorry Jay, but this is not another example of "both sides do it." There's only one person running for president right now who is out there inciting people to violence with his rhetoric and offending enough people that they're ready to come out and protest him in mass, and that's Donald Trump.

Trump built this, and he owns it, not the people taking to the streets because they're tired of the hatred he's being allowed to spew on our airways day after day.
