CBS Executive Producer Chris Licht is getting great feedback on Twitter today for denying Donald Trump a phone-in interview.

The campaign cited "technical difficulties" preventing an on-camera interview with Trump, and CBS to its credit refused to do a phone interview with the New York City businessman.

Finally, someone in television news is starting to get it. Giving Trump whatever he wants including unlimited airtime via telephone may be good for ratings, but it's terrible journalism and it's bad for the United States of America.

I'm glad so many people are replying positively to this tweet. It's important that the public let the media know when they do something right.
