Fox host Howard Kurtz noted today that Donald Trump has taken “plenty of shots” at Megyn Kelly. Kurtz then added, “some of them unfair.”
In a MediaBuzz discussion about Donald Trump’s nasty, sexist tweet about Ted Cruz’s wife, Heidi, Kurtz made the following comment that was really an unnecessary digression from the subject.
KURTZ: After that Trump tweet, Megyn Kelly, of Fox, tweeted, “Seriously?” taking a little shot at Donald Trump who has taken plenty of shots at her, some of them unfair.”
Well, that begs the question, which shots at Kelly were fair? I’m a huge critic of hers but I can’t think of a single one of Trump’s nasty, sexist shots that was fair.
And why would a Fox host take such a gratuitous shot at a colleague?
Again, I’m not a Kelly fan but it boggles my mind that Fox has not united around her in the wake of this shocking bullying by a presidential candidate in an obvious effort to intimidate, humiliate and diminish her.
