Steve Doocy sat down this morning with insurance agency owner, Lance Toland who requires his employees to be armed with a pistol. More specifically, the pistol's model name is 'The Judge,' and he didn't offer any information on possible kick backs from the gun manufacturer.

His rationale is that several years ago, an agency several miles away from his had a break in and a female employee was shot and killed. Now that his NRA certified shooting instructor employee will be retiring from his shop, he wants every employee armed, as they are mostly just women. Now they all must carry a weapon, or they can't have a job with him.

Toland didn't specify what his firing policies are now that everyone is armed and considered dangerous. That's a problem he doesn't anticipate.

The Huffpo reported:

Toland won't even consider job applicants who don't have a concealed weapon permit. Anyone who has a permit, he said, has already passed a background check by the state of Georgia and indicated they are a law-abiding citizen.

"It's also a measure of an individual's attitude towards responsible gun ownership and being a steward of our Second Amendment rights," he added.

There hasn't yet been an incident (yet) where an employee has had to take out their weapon at work, Toland said. He isn't concerned about an accident or an employee misusing a gun, he added.

"We don't really worry about internal issues, employee disgruntlement or things like that. We're a small-knit group of people," he said.

*Because people who are in small-knit, family units never have a gun tragedy.

"If they have a weapons permit they're very responsible," he added. "It's a safer workplace. Everyone is basically backing everyone else up."

In case you're wondering where Toland's political leanings lie, this will clear it up nicely:

Since WSB-Atlanta reported on the policy, Toland said people have told him he should be Republican Donald Trump's vice-presidential running mate. Toland, who said he does aviation consulting work for Trump's business, is supporting the billionaire real-estate mogul in this election.

Another day in Red-State America...
