Oh the irony. You've gotta' love it when reality steps all over Fox's prerecorded negative spin on the Iranians. As we already discussed here, the babblers on Fox & Friends looked like they were all sucking on a lemon as they were forced to announce good news about the Obama administration and John Kerry negotiating the release of Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian, as part of a prisoner swap.
Fox & Friends is a live show, and is followed by one of their prerecorded "business block" shows, Bulls & Bears and here's the chryon that stayed up front for all of about the first half a minute of the show, as they replayed some of the Republican debate and the candidates bashing the Iranians for the treatment of our U.S. soldiers who were briefly detained by Iran:
That was quickly replaced with this chryon, which ran at the bottom of the screen for the rest of the entire segment as the pundits on Fox demanded more sanctions against the Iranians and called them bad actors who are going to behave badly again as soon as their money is freed up:
I'm waiting to see how long it takes them to find a way to spin this as a negative for the Obama administration and by extension, Hillary Clinton as well. I'm sure it won't take too long before they're calling them terrorist loving appeasers.
Of course, don't expect this to stop from humiliating themselves any time soon. Just this past Thursday, Mr. Noun, a Verb and 9-11 Giuliani was on Fox & Friends demanding that John Kerry resigns as Secretary of State.
Think we'll get an apology out of him any time soon? Neither do I.
