Planned Parenthood has filed a lawsuit in federal court under racketeering statutes against the Center for Medical Progress, Biomax Procurement Services, LLC, David Daleiden, and other named and unnamed co-conspirators.
The RICO suit alleges that the defendants engaged in a "complex criminal enterprise conceived and executed by anti-abortion extremists."
It further alleges that the "express aim of the enterprise -- which stretched over years and involved fake companies, fake identifications, and large-scale illegal taping -- was to demonize Planned Parenthood, harass and intimidate its dedicated staff, and interrupt its operations, all with the ultimate goal of interfering with women's access to legal abortion."

“CMP’s reckless and dangerous actions have created a poisonous environment that fuels political attacks on access to reproductive health care and feeds threats against our health centers,” said Kathy Kneer, CEO of Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California.
“We’re going on the offensive to expose this fraud for what it is and hold the people behind it accountable – in order to prevent further harassment of our patients and staff and protect access to the preventive and reproductive health care Planned Parenthood provides to millions of people each year,” Kneer promised.
I'm glad to see Planned Parenthood standing up and pushing back instead of folding like ACORN did when they were attacked. If you want to support their efforts, you can find ways to do that here.
