After Maine Governor LePage stuck his foot in his big mouth and then tried desperately to walk it back, some folks on Twitter went looking for his "DMoney, Shifty and Smoothie" heroin dealers.
You know, the ones who impregnate white girls.
On January 6th, the MDEA arrested three people on charges of heroin trafficking, reports WDSH6.
According to WDSH, agents from the MDEA Mid-Coast and South Central District Task Forces have been investigating the distribution of heroin in the three counties. They discovered that 42-year-old James Millay and 35-year-old Jody Daniello would travel to the nearby town of China to purchase heroin from 41-year-old Donna Johnson. Millay and Daniello would then resell the heroin throughout local Maine counties.
Two nights before LePage made his unfortunate comments, drug agents stopped Millay and Johnson's vehicle for a routine traffic stop. When they searched the car, they found 20 grams of heroin. They found more heroin in Johnson's home when it was searched later that night, along with a loaded handgun and $5,000 in cash.
They haven't yet determined whether James Millay has impregnated any white women in the area, but at least they have the culprits in jail.
