Über-sleazy Breitbart columnist and Libertarian hack, Kurt Schlichter battled Trump's Spokesperson, Katrina Pierson on The O'Reilly Factor last night, with Eric Bolling filling in for Bill-O. Schlichter, representing the side vehemently against a Trump nomination, is put off by the bro-mance between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. Katrina, the outlandish Tea Party Medusa and Trump devotee, has her own ideas about national security, and they are pretty damned scary.
Schlichter tried to slam Trump over his Putin alliance while denigrating the president whenever he opened his mouth.
'I'm not real surprised he's (Trump) slobbering over dictators, at least they're not leftist dictators like Obama prefers."
Fear-mongering about global terrorism, and knowing about as much about history as Sarah Palin, Pierson accuses the President of doing NOTHING to defeat ISIS. Of course, facts don't matter and Bolling acquiesces without challenging the fallacy, like a good GOP lapdog host.
Schlichter uses the typical make the GOP look good by bashing his Commander-in-Chief in the most disdainful way tactic.
"Barack Obama is so incompetent, so feckless, so UTTERLY useless, that he makes almost anybody look good by comparison."
The mutual admiration society of Trump and Putin is off-putting for Schlichter. He simply doesn't trust Trump or Putin. At least he's right, on that point.
Pierson counters and exposes another layer of complete insanity:
"AND, what good does it do to have a good nuclear triad if you're afraid to use it? And that's where we are today. And we need to be discussing how we fix these problems, not just complaining and name-calling...they (people) want somebody that's going to go to bat for them, and right now, Donald Trump seems to be the only person doing it."
Just drink that in for a moment.
Pierson laments that we've got to stop the name-calling, but hey, let's use weapons to kill millions of innocent people without batting an eyelash. Schlichter harps on the recklessness of allowing an unstable individual like Donald to have nuclear code access, when he still can't define a nuclear triad. But Pierson doesn't care what her boss doesn't know, people support him, and substance is secondary to the cult of personality. These people are terrifying monsters, all of these Republicans.
