It began with the tendentious Moral Majority, in the Reagan years, who took it upon themselves to decide that a woman was unfit to choose what she can do with her own reproductive health. It is still a contentious point with the people who claim to be pro-life but have shown themselves to be anything but. These so-called pro-life people have gone so far off the deep end, they are guilty of promulgating increasingly violent attacks against innocent people who disagree with their manufactured insanity. They are culpable, they are responsible.

Who created this insanity, and has been steadily bating people with violent proclivities to act upon their delusional thinking? The American Republican Party, that's who. They are the ones who have created these traumatic events where innocent people are being killed because of their political party's willful negligence and malevolent lies.

People like Jerry Falwell, not just guilty of giving us his horrible son who insists that moar gunz is the answer to all our woes, are dripping with the blood of innocents. These people cannot be written off as simply the crazy, televangelists whom many dismiss as absurd and innocuous. These people poison the dialogue and spawn movements designed to incite murder in the name of their God.

“Abortion is not birth control nor family planning. It is murder according to the Word of God… It is time that medical students as well as every other person in our United States put those words ‘from the time of conception’ back into their thinking.”

Falwell and his array of allies disseminated this interpretation of the Bible, in a top-down political campaign, to millions of evangelicals across America, with mailers sporting titles like “Scriptures for Life.”

Given that the Bible, does not, in fact, teach that life begins at conception, evangelical scholars understandably emerged to challenge these views. The evangelical pro-life movement maintained momentum by actively suppressing such scholarship.

This movement has been manufactured, and has been a part of the dialogue my whole entire life. The Roe V. Wade decision is settled law. Abortions do not stop when it is illegal, they merely present danger to those who feel it is their only option. This malevolence has resulted in scores of episodes of violence against women's healthcare providers, including those who perform safe and legal abortions, and not one of the pro-forced birth crowd has taken a single scintilla of blame for their treachery.

This year, their evil machinations culminated in the completely discredited work of the Center for Medical Progress' Planned Parenthood hit job video. This was the basis for the power-hungry Mormon convert Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), the Chair of the House Oversight Committee, to condone the absolutely unsubstantiated accusation that the women's healthcare group was selling fetal baby parts. His charade ended up uncovering absolutely zero evidence of wrongdoing, nonetheless, the waters of discourse were poisoned by his baseless accusations.

The hearings which pitted the misogynists of the GOP Planned Parenthood Committee against the group's president, Cecile Richards, who exhibited the patience of a saint were salacious, spurious and costly.

The pretense that we would see “Planned Parenthood Exposed” collapsed early in the hearing. Democratic members of the committee noted that six states, responding to the videos, had investigated Planned Parenthood and had found no convincing evidence that it broke any laws. Seven other states had deemed the evidence insufficient to warrant investigation. One Democrat, Rep. Steve Cohen of Tennessee, played a series of clips that pro-lifers had edited out of their promoted versions of the videos. In the clips, a Planned Parenthood officer repeatedly explained that the organization doesn’t sell tissue and doesn’t want to profit from it.

Immediately following the insidious attacks by the admittedly guilty Robert Lewis Dear at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood on Black Friday, the 'pro-life' crowd immediately denied any culpability and called (and still calls) the shooter deranged, with no clear connection to that particular facility to enact his terror. Here's one example:

The fact is that at the time of these statements, no one had an answer as to why the shooter chose that location. The one thing that is certain is that the shooter is not pro-life. Actual pro-lifers don’t kill people or engage in “terrorism.” Pro-life leaders spoke out about that, as well.

The Pro-Life leader, in this case, Troy Newman,

(who) identifies himself in press releases as a “board member” of Center for Medical Progress. Newman has been affiliated with and the head of a branch of the radical anti-abortion group Operation Rescue, known for repeated intimidation of abortion clinic doctors and workers.

Funny, he's part of the same group, headed by Dave Daleidan who made the fake videos.

Troy Newman leads us to Dave Daleidan who OBVIOUSLY inspired Robert Lewis Dear to murder three innocent people and injure nine others on that awful Friday in November. He was repeating the baby body parts lie perpetrated by that insidious edit job by Daleidan and friends.

His outbursts, with at least, 17 disturbances Wednesday, Dear interrupted his hearing, shouting “I am guilty! There’s no trial. I am a warrior for the babies!” according to several reports.

One of my fellow colleagues explained the culpability factor of an insidious and sensationalist lie that has gotten way out of hand, with the Right simply denying the truth. After his baby warrior comments, she explained the rest succinctly.

Soon afterwards he stated “You’ll never know the amount of blood I saw in that place.”

Three people were killed and nine others were wounded. Prosecutors announced in the hearing that they will be filing 179 counts against Dear, including murder.

That blood he saw is as much on David Daleiden and the billionaire-funded Center for Medical Progress sham organization as it is on Dear's. They all own it.

Yes, they own it. They own this, along with the accidental gun deaths and deliberate murders that happen every day because of the gun-violence they tacitly allow when they take their millions from the most well-funded and influential terrorist organization in the U.S., the NRA. This proves how anti-life these people really are.

Lastly, every Republican on the Planned Parenthood Committee has an A rating with the NRA. Coincidence? Not at all. Here's what I found. Each Republican on the committee is listed with their NRA rating. (Chaffetz introduced the hearings, but was not named one of the Republicans on the committee by Speaker Boehner at that time, but his rating is a 93% in case you were wondering.)

  • Marsha Blackburn, Chairman (R-TN) 93%
  • Joe Pitts (R-PA) 92%
  • Diane Black (R-TN) 93%
  • Larry Bucshon (R-IN) 92%
  • Sean Duffy (R-WI) 93%
  • Andy Harris (R-MD) 92%
  • Vicky Hartzler (R-MO) 92%
  • Mia Love (R-UT) 92%
