Fox News' Gretchen Carlson proves herself as one of the dumbest TV hosts by citing a fictional TV series as the foreign policy model America should follow.

After President Obama gave a speech and took questions from the G20 summit in Turkey, Conservatives have been attacking him for not understanding the threat and not putting on a codpiece and flying into Syria himself, guns ablazing, yelling, "I'll kill all you radical Islam bastards myself."

On Fox News' The Real Story, Gretchen took it a step futher and complained that eight air bombings a day wasn't really enough of an effort by the administration to go after ISIS and then went into lala land by quoting a character from Showtime's series Homeland, who sounds like most radical conservatives when it comes to war.

I don't know if it's scary or if there's another adjective to describe it, but Showtime a show called Homeland and one of their characters actually seems to sometimes know more about this war on terror and ISIS than possibly this administration

The character they quoted was a black ops assassin named Peter Quinn, played expertly by Rupert Friend, who wants the US to bomb Syria and the jihadist into kingdom come or as he states, pound them into a parking lot.

Carlson: So on that show, Lieutenant Colonel, they're talking about what needs to be done in Syria, I mean, should we be listening to Homeland?

A) Yea, we probably ought to,Gretchen...

How many tons of explosives have we dropped on ISIS and other terrorist targets so far, Gretchen?

This is the kind of nutty debate they are having on Fox News over our national security. Whether we should make Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon, who also produced the torture porn show "24" the heads of the Homeland Security.

Oh, Lord, please help us all.

Can you help us out?
