I've been called many things in my lifetime, but nothing quite as colorful as when I started writing about politics.

America hater, n*&erlover, f*ggot, anti-American socialist Marxist scum, etc...

These are the typical offensive slurs I received, but I dare not post the really, really disgusting ones for it will curdle your bones. Your eyes would bulge out of your head and you'd know how the victims in David Cronenberg's Scanners felt after their heads exploded.

But they haven't been able to stop us here at C&L. Our female contributors and editors have been subjected to some really nasty misogynistic filth as well, but they also still carry on the cause. Because of my Sicilian roots, an activist called me the Vlogfather as a joke when I started the video craze online back in 2004, and we've had a laugh about it for many years/ Maybe that's why I won't back down even when Darryl Revok has me in his sights. I think you know where I'm coming from.
