Gov. Chris Christie has Donald Trump in his sights and took aim at him by refuting Trump's claims that thousands of New Jersey Muslims were cheering the 9/11 attacks on that day:

Christie: You know people micro analyzed every word, I said I don't remember it. I'm and I wanted to qualify it that day. Not that I thought it happened, but just to remind people that that was a very emotional day for me, it was personally emotional. I was not focus that day on everything that was going on all across the state. Where I was focused on was my wife and my brother, who were in lower Manhattan, and I hadn't heard from for a long long time.

So you know, but definitively I've said to number of times. It didn't happen. And so you know I said I didn't remember it, that was the way I put it that day, it wasn't me trying to hedge anything. It was me telling you the truth. I don't remember it happening which means. And if it had happened I think I would have remembered. If you'd like me to say it anyother way, it didn't happen.

And in fact is that you know you people could say anything like, but the facts are facts and that did not happen in new Jersey that day and hasn't happened since.
