Ben Carson has a new boogeyman to blame his problems on. NBC's Chris Jansing caught up to Carson over the weekend following the very public meltdown Carson had this Friday where he was spewing one anti-Obama conspiracy theory after another.
Carson's demeanor was calmer, but he was still spouting nonsense about President Obama, and apparently he has a new boogeyman other than the nonexistent "liberal media" that's supposedly out to get him. Now it's the "secular progressive movement" that's to blame... and they're afraid of him.
Good luck with that Ben.

JANSING: I guess I just want to go back and say vetting is a normal part of the process, did you not expect this?
CARSON: I have always said that I expect to be vetted, but being vetted and what is going on with me “You said this thirty years ago, you said this 20 years ago, this didn’t exist” You know, I have not seen that with anyone else. If you can show me where that’s happened with someone else I will take that statement back
JANSING: I think almost every person who has been president would—
CARSON: No not like this, I have never seen this before and many other people who are politically experienced tell me they have never seen it before either.
JANSING: You don’t think that Bill Clinton or the President with his birth certificate—
CARSON: No not like this—
JANSING: People who still refuse to believe—
CARSON: Not even close.
JANSING: So what do you think is going on, why you?
CARSON: Because I’m a threat.
JANSING: To who?
CARSON: To the progressive, the secular progressive movement in this country. I’m a very big threat because you know they can look at the polling data, they can tell that I’m the candidate who’s most likely to beat Hillary Clinton. They see that and they also worry—they go to some of these book signings and things and they see the kinds of people who are in line and they see a great diversity of people and it worries them. And these are people who may be attracted to this guy and they’re worried about it.
