If there's one thing we can be grateful this Sunday, it's that Pope-watch appears to be finally over. I don't know about anyone else, but all of the wall to wall coverage of these masses was giving me flashbacks to when I was a kid and forced to go to church six days a while I was in grade school.
John Boehner has finally called it quits, but as Thom Hartmann and one of his callers discussed in the clip above, we're probably going to get someone even worse in his place. I'm sure the talking heads on these bobblehead shows will take every opportunity to talk about how terrible "both sides" are while glossing over the fact that we've got one party that's gone completely off the rails with their inability to govern or compromise, as one of the worst Speakers of the House we've ever had finally makes his exit.
