Earlier this week the news broke that former tennis champion James Blake had been arrested in a violent and abrupt manner by the NYPD, who mistook him for an identity thief.

Here's the video from that arrest, along with some discussion on Chris Hayes' show about what could possibly have happened, had Blake been armed. That policeman does not appear to have identified himself before he tackled Blake and slammed him on the ground. What if Blake had a gun, too? Wouldn't he have been justified in using it?
