As we've already discussed here, Red State's Erick Erickson suddenly decided to pretend he'd found his conscience over Donald Trump's remarks to Megyn Kelly during and following the Fox presidential debate and canceled Trump's appearance at his gathering in Georgia. That led to Trump calling Erickson a "loser" and pointing out to CNN's Jake Tapper that Erickson had a long history of his own when it comes to making sexist remarks about women.
Roger Ailes must have put the word out at Fox to make nice with Donald Trump again after their failed attempt to take him down during their "debate," because this Monday we were treated to host Neil Cavuto giving Erickson some grief over his dust up with Trump and for some of the things he's posted on Twitter: Fox Host Reads Erick Erickson's Sexist Tweets On Air: 'Who Are You To Judge?':
Fox host Neil Cavuto called out RedState.com editor-in-chief Erick Erickson for his sexist tweets on-air on Monday.
Erickson, a Fox News contributor, had uninvited Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump from speaking at his influential RedState Gathering this past weekend after the real estate mogul's comments about Fox News host Megyn Kelly, who helped moderate last week's GOP debate. Trump attacked Kelly the day after the debate for asking him tough questions, saying she had "blood coming out of her wherever."
The comments sparked a major backlash among Republicans, and Erickson said Trump had crossed a line.
But during "Your World With Neil Cavuto" on Monday, Cavuto questioned Erickson's standing on the matter, pointing out that the pundit had made some remarks of his own that many saw as sexist.
Among them, Cavuto noted, was referring to the National Association of Women as the "National Association of Gals." The host asked Erickson if he regretted that.
"I have apologized for a lot of things. I don’t regret that," Erickson said. "I think a lot of feminist groups tend to prove they’re humorless. And I don’t regret some of the statements Donald Trump has pulled out.”
As they noted, Cavuto proceeded to read some of Erickson's tweets on the air and asked him who he was to judge Trump given his own history. Erickson blew the criticism off and said the difference is he's not running for president, as though that excuses his behavior.
Here are a couple of the tweets Cavuto mentioned.
Needless to say, Erickson got a huge pass from Cavuto, since he left these other items off of his list.

And Media Matters has a few more of his "greatest hits" here: Meet Erick Erickson: CNN's newest political commentator :
Erickson defends Beck's statement that Obama is "racist" and lashes out at "Obama Brownshirts."
Erickson calls Michelle Obama a "marxist harpy wife."
Erickson calls Souter a "goat fucking child molester."
Erickson suggested that the Clintons killed Vince Foster and that Dems would kill former Rep. Eric Massa.
There's more where that came from, of course. Given Fox's record, Cavuto giving Erickson any sort of grief is the pot calling the kettle black, but I am enjoying watching them go at each other's throats these days.
