My jaw dropped many times during Thursday night's GOP-Fox News Debate from Cleveland, but it hit the floor after turning on MSNBC following the Clown Show. After gushing ad nauseum about Carly Fiorina's 'win,' Chris Matthews was almost giddy over Marco Rubio's 'performance.' Somehow I expected different from MSNBC and much to my chagrin, I saw Chuck Todd also fawning over the debate 'winner,' with Matt Schlapp, Steve Schmidt and Kathleen Parker chiming in with Matthews. It's so nice that the both-siderists were on MSNBC to make sure no major media outlet appears too liberal, god forbid!

It appears Rubio was held to a far lower standard than a Democrat would be. All he had to do was not lose his cool or appear thirsty. CNBC said,

'Rubio was polished, optimistic, strong on issues, from immigration to education to the economy, and never once reached out in thirst for an off-screen water bottle.'

Friday morning, the Fox 'Giggling Couch Tumors' were all mesmerized by the dreamy Rubio.

The reason they all thought he won? He embodies the middle class, because he had student loan debt of $100,000 just four years ago. (All of a sudden, poof! He has no more debt? How did that happen?) His comments:

“If I’m our nominee, how is Hillary Clinton gonna lecture me about living paycheck to paycheck?” Rubio said, drawing loud cheers from the audience. “How is she gonna lecture me about student loans? I owed over $100,000 just four years ago. If I’m our nominee, we will be the party of the future.”

He wasn't as extreme and insane-sounding as Scott Walker, who wants to forbid abortion even when it's necessary to protect the life of the mother. In fact, 2% of all pregnancies are ectopic, so he is literally condemning thousands of women to die. But Rubio was clearly pandering to the pro-forced birth crowd by denying that he was one of the co-sponsors of a bill that would allow abortion in the case of rape and/or incest.

But Rubio was a cosponsor on the Senate’s Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, introduced in 2013. The bill would have prohibited abortion except in certain circumstances, including if “the pregnancy is the result of rape, or the result of incest against a minor.” The legislation would have also included an exception if the woman’s life was at risk.

When Megyn Kelly asked him this:

“Sen. Rubio, you favor a rape and incest exception to abortion bans… If you believe that life begins at conception, as you say you do, how do you justify ending a life just because it beings violently, or through no fault of the baby?”

He proceeded to deny that he ever 'said that.' It was something the anti-fact checkers at GOP-TV don't seem concerned over, because, so what if just two years ago he co-sponsored a bill saying exactly what he denied. Fox 'News' viewers have a short memory.

Sorry Rubio, women, 52% of the electorate, will remember what you said. The general population is not represented by the demographic that are interested in these 17 candidates; all who are trying to out-war-on-women each other, while claiming their devotion to the Christian God.
