Black Wisconsin Lawmaker Kicked Out Of Walker Event
July 14, 2015

Whether you like Scott Walker or not, the fact that he has finally formally announced he is running for president is a historical event for Wisconsin.

But as is the normal for Walker, he couldn't do carry out this carefully choreographed event without a blunder.

One of the most striking ones to come out is that he had Wisconsin State Representative Mandela Barnes (D-Milwaukee) escorted out of the event before his announcement. In Barnes' own words, from his Facebook page:

So I go to the Scott Walker rally, and as soon as I get in the door, a volunteer zeroes in on me to ask if I was alone and if I would like to stand on-stage. Now this could have been my moment for comedic/ironic gold, but I kindly declined. Then a few minutes later, I was pointed out by a staff person who recognized who I was and asked me to leave. I went from the top to the bottom before I even knew it. I was like a sore thumb and it brought about two distinctly different interactions, lol.

Oh, did I forget to mention that besides being a terrific guy and one helluva a legislator, Barnes is African American?

I guess Walker isn't planning on running to represent all Americans, just the white right ones.

Can you help us out?
