Apparently CNN's Don Lemon was attacked on Twitter for a segment this Monday, where he held up a sign with the word nigger and asked his audience "Does this offend you?" in the wake of the dust up over President Obama using the word during his podcast with Marc Maron.

The Nightly Show's Larry Wilmore took his turn piling on and giving Lemon a hard time as well, but rather than being upset with Lemon for the use of the word itself, he was a little more focused on CNN getting him that card he held up as a prop during his show.

WILMORE: Wow! You went literal race card Don. Right? Oh my God. And by the way, that was a very impressive card, right? I mean, kudos to the CNN prop closet just to have that at th their ready, right? Hey, can someone snag me that nigger card? We're talking about race. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's alphabetized. It shouldn't be that difficult. It's right behind Mick.

I tell you what Don. You want to see what really offends me?

After telling Lemon to calm down a bit, Wilmore told his audience that they were all very impressed with CNN getting that sign printed up so quickly for Lemon, and "using their state of the art reenactment technology," Wilmore shared with his audience that "great moment in cable news industry" when some poor CNN intern had to go down to the local copy place and get that sign printed.

I won't spoil any more of it for you. Just watch the rest. Given the media's ridiculous treatment of this entire topic, I'm happy to watch all the piling on from the comedians they're willing to give them.
