I had no intentions of going to see "Jurassic World," even though I've written a ton of reviews for the site because after the 92' blockbuster Jurassic Park, what would be the point, right? Well, my best friend and his wife bought tickets for an afternoon showing and off I went. It's a film that doesn't deviate from the original Spielberg premise of scientists creating dinosaurs in test tubes, putting them in a park and suddenly they get loose, but it still delivered an entertaining piece of fun for a few hours. It doesn't bother trying to be clever or witty and at times is cliched to a fault, but I still had a good time. Isn't that the point of dropping down your hard earned dollars at a movie, anyway?
The kids will love it for sure and there still is nothing cooler than a pack of velociraptors on the hunt.
Not even a Indominus Rex can touch them.
