On Friday's WTF Podcast with Marc Maron, President Obama uses the N word, Fox News loses their minds
June 22, 2015

Within a five minute time span, in the third hour of Fox and Friends, I witnessed the most ironic example of outrage, Faux News style. It was so important to them, they showed the exact same graphic three times. The giggling couch tumors were all aflutter over the President of the United States using the word ni**er. If anyone on this planet is allowed, within an honest conversation about racism, to use that word, it's the man who has been called that derogatory name more times by Republicans than we can count. Right wingers have openly embraced that term and there is no doubt that in their own private lives, they use the word at an alarming rate to describe anyone who is black, especially our first black president. While Joe Scarborough was defending the Confederate Flag with his Southern Pride-filled buddy, Harold Ford Jr., the tumors at Faux were literally shitting a brick over this one-time mention during a comedian's podcast.

President Obama is trying to reach out to the demographic that has essentially disavowed politics, the Gen Xers and the Lost Generation. So he spoke candidly with comedian Marc Maron from his L.A. area home for over an hour, you can listen to the podcast here. About 46:50 into the discussion, the president, in the context of a discussion about racism, said the word that honestly made Fox's day. If these people believe that we think they're actually shocked and outraged over hearing this word from a man who has more than endured his fair share of disgusting racism, they are as crazy as they are dumb.

After Kilmeade and Doocy's mangling of Marc Maron's name, an uncharacteristically rational discussion with Brett Baier ensued. Then Doocy did a three-way interview with Black Conservative host David Webb and outspoken Progressive host, Garland Nixon. Nixon once called Herman Cain 'the Tea Party's black friend."

Nixon defended the president, especially in the context he used the word, as it's important to put it out there to take the negative power away from the derogatory term that is a remnant of Antebellum Southern slave culture. Of course, Webb was just appalled that a man in that prestigious office would stoop to such levels. Webb is a constant source of the right wing's assertion that voter fraud is real. He's one of Fox's many ready-made Uncle Ruckuses that will reaffirm any convoluted, inherently racist ideas they may be pushing that day. Webb is one of those Fox employees that thinks hallelujah! Racism is over. He said, regarding the use of the n word,

"He's playing into this narrative because it supports what he needs to push in his agenda...racism is still institutional, but it's not."

Please, Fox "News," do not assume you or anyone on your network has the right to dictate anything President Obama chooses to say. If anyone has disrespected the office of the Presidency, who has hurt the dignity of the office, it's the racist bunch of morons that populate this network.
