Bill O'Reilly pulled out all the stops on Fox & Friends this Thursday while defending the poor picked on Christian conservative pizza family that won the wingnut sweepstakes this week after they said they didn't want to serve gay people.
On Thursday morning’s edition of Fox News’ “Fox & Friends,” the hosts spoke with Bill O’Reilly via telephone about Indiana’s discriminatory “religious freedom” law that would essentially allow businesses to refuse to serve gay customers.
Bill O’Reilly feels that there is a global war on Christians and “Muslim jihadists” and the “secular progressive movement” are basically the same thing.
“I mean if you just link everything together, we just heard about the terror attack in Kenya on Christians– you’ve got two things in play,” he said. “You’ve got the Muslim extremist jihadists. They wanna kill Christians and they’re doing it all over the world. And then in the United States and in Western Europe, you have a civil war between the secular progressive movement and the traditional religious people. In both cases, Christians are targets.”
O'Reilly also claimed that the "totalitarian left is out of control in America" because the "media sympathizes with the fascists," and pretended that there's no one out there defending these good "people of conscience" because their attacks remain "unchallenged by the liberal media."
Bill-O went onto carry water for the poor old picked on pizza family and claim that unlike him, who has a television show, they don't have anyone looking out for them. He failed to mention that they've got Fox and the rest of the right-wing media and blogs looking out for them and the wingnut welfare is already rolling in to the tune of well over $100,000 at the time of this writing.
Who knew it paid so well to go on television and spread a little hatred for a few minutes? I'm sure there are a ton of people that would like to get in on that racket.
O'Reilly wrapped things up by pimping his movie, Killing Jesus and complaining that the "secular left" doesn't want anyone to see it. Always the victim. He's got that persecution complex act down pat.
