As Long As The Checks Clear...
Today we're taking a look at the GOP response to the Iran Deal. As much as I am buoyed by Media's finally starting to toss the Climate Change Deniers, I'm still boggled by how they accept Republican hissy-fits as Serious Statesmanship. Hopefully, this will help us get it sorted a bit:
Mark, at Lean Left kicks it off with the long list of methods our modern GOP is using to whip up Popular fear over the deal.
Mustang Bobby at BarkBarkWoofWoof, takes a linky look at who is buying GOP support against the agreement.
Robert Perry of the excellent Consortium News, takes a deep, hard look at how Media allows the GOP to act out in trying to derail the Deal.
And finally, Nancy LeTourneau of Horizons, examines what Tom Friedman is calling the "Obama Doctrine," in the palate cleansing, "The Security to Take Risks." Do follow the link to the interview. It's quite good, in spite of Friedman.
Compare and contrast as you may, but I'm still pretty thankful the grown-ups are at the wheel.
