Faux "news" regular Kevin Jackson pulled the birther card while attacking President Obama for his remarks at the Easter prayer breakfast this week: Fox Guest: Obama Should Decry Killing Of Christians In His 'Home Country' Of Kenya:
A Fox News guest on Wednesday dusted off the debunked conspiracy theory that Barack Obama was born in Kenya in response to the President's prayer breakfast jab at "less-than-loving" Christians.
A panel on Fox's "America's Newsroom" was discussing Obama's remarks at the Easter prayer breakfast. The President appeared to poke fun at his critics when he said during an Easter prayer breakfast this week that sometimes he's concerned by "less-than-loving expressions by Christians." He stopped before elaborating on what those expressions were.
During the panel on Fox News, Kevin Jackson, a talk radio host, chastised Obama for criticizing Christianity rather than radical Islam.
"It's nonsense. Look, Barack Obama is constantly decrying Christianity as he proclaims his Christianity. Which is it?" he said. "He never talks badly about what's going on with Islam. On the day that he was doing that, 147 Christians were killed in his home country. So what is he talking about?"
Jackson was apparently referencing a deadly attack Thursday at a college in Garissa, Kenya. The Islamic militant group al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the massacre, which targeted Christians and killed 148 people.
Host Bill Hemmer asked Jackson to clarify that "home country" remark a few seconds later.
"Well, the point is -- where he supposedly has origins, has roots. I'm not trying to say he's not American," Jackson said.
Jackson can feign innocence, but as the other guest, Julie Roginsky pointed out later in the segment, he knew full well what he was implying. You can add this to the long list of segments on Fox where they're playing the poor picked on victimized Christian game. Apparently that never gets old over there.
