After formally declaring himself a presidential candidate today - in a speech aired in its entirety on Fox - Ted Cruz will get a little campaign assist from the GOP's most reliable 2016 TV cheerleader, Sean Hannity.

According to an announcement I heard on Fox, Cruz will be Hannity's guest for a full hour of campaigning interviewing.

The only question: Will Hannity be sporting pompoms or just slobbering?
