I don't know about Fox "News", but when I worked for a large corporation we would have been fired for forwarding any kind of racist email or other personal communication like the ones they found in Ferguson's police and court inboxes. Maybe Megyn Kelly thinks that's normal because that's a norm where she works?

During the March 9 edition of her Fox News show, Kelly hosted [WSJ's Bret] Stephens who downplayed the DOJ's report as merely a report about traffic citations, "not a story of institutional racism." Kelly agreed, saying it is unfair to "tar the entire organization" as racist because "there are very few companies in America, whether they are public or private" where "you won't find any racist e-mails, [or] any inappropriate comments."

Bret Stephens wrote a typically dishonest column for the Wall Street Journal Monday extolling the DoJ report "exonerating Darren Wilson" (it didn't), while claiming media created the narrative around systemic racism when really it was just some obnoxious policing and traffic violations. As he oozed his white privilege all over the article, he singled out two Grand Jury witnesses who were reluctant to give witness statements, while suggesting that the neighborhood "thugs" were intimidating them.

This kind of equivocation is expected from Stephens, so take it for what it's worth, which isn't much. But Megyn Kelly generally steps up when confronted with facts, so her claim that every company, large and small, has people who forward this crap around is just nonsense. Either she's got a few in her inbox forwarded by her boss, Roger Ailes, or else she's clueless.

I think we all know which one it is.
