The sound hasn't changed too much from the first album, but they each have their unique qualities. The new album, entitled Chasing Yesterday is more rock-oriented and tones down the orchestral arrangements in favor of a more traditional rock band arrangement. I'd also say that the new album doesn't adhere to traditional songwriting structures as much as the first one, instead taking time to incorporate some jamming and improvised solo sections. Overall, it's definitely a strong release and quite different from the first. While some listeners will probably prefer one over the other, I feel that they're both worth owning if you're a fan.
