This album takes on a darker tone than some of his other stuff, although Earl is known to get introspective, but he seems to have gone a little deeper this time. He's also taken to producing the album himself, aside from one track, which was produced by Left Brain. It's interesting to see how he's developed as an artist, both musically and lyrically. It should be just as interesting to see how how much further he progresses in the future.
