C&L's Late Nite Music Club With Lesley Gore

Lesley Gore, best known as the singer of "It's My Party" has passed away.

The singer passed away earlier today after a long battle with lung cancer. The '60s pop icon is known for her songs that usually concerned teenage subject matters. Lesley wrote many of her works with her brother, Michael, and was active in music up until around 2005. She is survived by her partner of 33 years, Lois Sasson, who made the announcement earlier today.
