Someone had better tell Tucker Carlson's wife not to let him go on any trips with his female co-workers over at Faux "news." Apparently he doesn't believe a man is capable of traveling with a woman he might be attracted to without hitting on her.
On this Saturday's Fox & Friends, the show brought on a Canadian man named Jordan Axani, who had a nice story about how he found someone with his ex-girlfriend's name to travel with after being stuck with a non-refundable ticket in her name and has subsequently set up a charitable organization "that sends survivors of abuse, cancer and warfare on a trip of a lifetime."
Where things got a little weird was when Axani "made it clear that this was never a romantic endeavor, so it didn't matter to him that Quinn (his traveling companion) already had a boyfriend," and Tucker Carlson's response to that.
CARLSON: You know... I don't believe you. Let's see, New York, Milan, Venice, Vienna, Prague, New Delhi and Hong Kong among other places and there was never dinner in a bistro that flowers to something else? I don't think so. I don't buy that.
AXANI: Well, you can believe what you wish but I'm telling the truth.
CARLSON: Is this really true?
AXANI: You know what it is, it's the old saying of why ruin a good story by telling the truth, right? I'm really sorry. I apologize. I wish it was a romantic ending but it's just not.
Someone had better be keeping Tucker on a short leash.
