Ex-FBI agent Ron Hosko appeared on Megyn Kelly's show Thursday night to make sure every Fox viewer understands that Darren Wilson is a victim who should be released from the public hanging he is undergoing. Those aren't my words; they're Hosko's.
Fox News and the Bigot Brigade seems to have forgotten who is dead and who is alive. Alive, I might add, with hundreds of thousands of dollars backing him up for his legal defense, or possibly to negotiate a contract for commentary on the Fox News network.
Speaking to Megyn, Hosko said, "Mr. Holder, it's time to cut Darren Wilson down from that tree." As though Wilson was lynched or something. How insulting is that?
Here's the thing. It's easy to make inflammatory statements like this and paint Wilson as the victim, particularly if the police conveniently failed to collect the evidence that might have either exonerated or convicted him.
When the forensic examiners can't be bothered to take photographs of the crime scene or measure the distance between Michael Brown's body, Darren Wilson's positions, and bullet trajectories, it's a pretty sure bet no investigation will ever have the evidence to prove anything.
Darren Wilson is alive and well. Michael Brown is dead and gone. Ron Hosko is a disgrace to the FBI and law enforcement in general, and Fox News is...Fox News. Always disgraceful, never afraid to claim victimhood for themselves and their viewers.
