I know it's not just me. Everyone I know is saying some version of, "Boy, 2014 really sucked." Not just politically, but on a personal level, too. (I describe it as the feeling of a giant zit, ready to pop.)
For one thing, the inmates are now in charge of the asylum. There probably won't be that much to love about the next Congress, but you never know. (President Obama seems to have entered into the "F.U." phase of his presidency, and I'm sure he'll be vetoing a lot of the really bad legislation.)
The Republicans will try to undo everything positive. It will be hard to watch, but we're good at opposing bad things and we have to rally the troops.

The weather will continue to be more extreme, more unpredictable, and more dangerous.

Businesses seem to be hiring, at least a little. And the minimum wages are going up in many places, which will have a positive ripple effect. Yay!
