CRomnibus For The Rest Of Us...

Today, we are focusing on the more controversial items of the Budget Bill known as "CRomnibus," as it is the Continuing Resolution of Appropriation of Funds for the operation of the Federal Government.

First up, Alan, at Liberaland, looks at the crazy Conservative additions of the Budget Bill, and declares, "'CROmnibus' is so tortured, it’ll make you beg for a little rectal feeding."

Next, Richard Mayhew, of Balloon Juice outlines what the CRomnibus has in store for the Affordable Care Act.

Mike Konczal at Next New Deal outlines "the CitiGroup Rider" which guts Dodd-Frank, and deregulates the very same Wall Street Derivative Products that destroyed the Global Economy. Very worthwhile reading.

Finally, Matthew Cunningham-Cook and David Sirota IB Times take a deeper look a the language gutting the 1974 Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
