So who knew we are now up to 24 members of the GOP 2016 Clown Car, otherwise known as presidential contenders over in Fox-land? From this Monday's Special Report with Bret Baier, regular panel member and pretend-liberal Mara Liasson was all aflutter over the group they featured who have either talked about running for president, said they were considering running, or other people think they might possibly run even if they haven't said so themselves.
LIASSON: It is really amazing and this is a huge, huge field, and it's a substantial field. It's not... it's a lot of Senators, a lot of Governors. These are real serious people. This is not, you know, talk show hosts running for president.
Really? You could have fooled me. Take a look at this picture and tell me how many of them are just another bunch of grifters looking to enrich themselves again by pretending that they want to run for president? And how many of those Senators or Governors actually want to run, or don't have scandals or corruption problems to deal with?
For those of you who don't recognize all of them, here's the list.
Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, John Kasich, Scott Walker, Mike Pence, Mitt Romney, Rick Perry, Ben Carson, Susana Martinez, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, Carly Fiorina, George Pataki, John Thune, Lindsey Graham, Donald Trump, Bob Corker, Mike Huckabee, Peter King, Bob Ehrlich and Paul Ryan.
